Embrace Imperfection

Given my One Word for the year, I was obviously drawn to Kemi Nekvapil's book, Power: A Woman’s Guide to Living & Leading Without Apology. With its short chapters and potent content, I cruised through the pages and loved every word.

This is one of the quotes that resonated with me the most.

Embracing imperfection and progress is a big part of my growth for 2023. I no longer want to be responsible for perpetuating this myth that only perfect is acceptable.

The reality is, we are all flawed because we are all human.

It's part of what makes us beautiful.

And it's part of what makes us powerful.

Who else is committed to showing up imperfectly this year?! 🙋‍♀️
